19/02/2008 . MASQUERADES release show set for March 15!

Our new cd will be released on the 15th of March, 2008. Al this will happen at the Dynamo Club in Eindhoven (NL). Other bands playing are The Butcher, Smash The Statues and 1000 Miles Ahead, so it's gonna be one hell of a party that night! Doors open at 20:00h and entrance will be only 5 euro. Be there!

By the way: Two mp3-files of our new cd will be available online next week!

22/01/2008 . On Fire to release new album called MASQUERADES on Shield Recordings!

On Fire's very happy to announce that our new full-length cd called MASQUERADES will be released by Shield Recordings in March of 2008!

MASQUERADES is our second full-length, after the release of "Truckstop Armageddon" in 2005 (also released by Shield Recordings).

MASQUERADES will have 10 brand new On Fire songs recorded by ourselves, mixed by Nico van Montfort and mastered by Alan Douches of West West Side Music. Expect On Fire's familiar mix of heavy metal, hardcore and punk but expect MASQUERADES to be the best On Fire record until now! A new song will be uploaded on our and Shield Recording's website and Myspace as soon as MASQUERADES is mastered.

MASQUERADES will be released on March 15th with a release party at the Dynamo Eindhoven (www.dynamo-eindhoven.nl). More bands playing at the release party will be announced in the near future.

On Fire's new album MASQUERADES will be available for pre-orders early February; we'll keep you posted on that!!

Hey Rockers and Rollers! The date for "The Rock 'n Roll Circus Part II" is set on February 15 at Soos Plock in Volkel. Last year's Circus was a blast, this year is gonna be even better!

21/12/2007 . It's all in the mix

The singers put their voices on tape last week, so that means that the recordings for our new album are done. We're in the process of mixing the whole thing, which is done by Nico van Montfort (a.o. Face Tomorrow, Malkovich) as we speak, and things are looking good! After that the record will be mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (a.o. Sepultura, Sick Of It All, Converge, Dillinger Escape Plan, Hatebreed).

Just like our "Truckstop Armageddon" album, the record will be released by Shield Recordings again somewhere in february 2008. Stay tuned!

10/09/2007 . Studio update

A little update from the studio. The recordings are going well. Yesterday Hugo finished his guitar-takes. Next up are the overdubs. After that Roel and Sander are going to put their words on tape. So far, so good. We'll keep you posted.

22/08/2007 . Recordings

There hasn’t been an On Fire-update for quite a while. Being the restless kids that we are, we can assure you we haven’t been sitting on our asses all summer long. There are a few things going on right now.

The most important are the recordings we’re making right now. In a few weeks we’ll complete the recordings of yet another full length. This time we’re following the DIY-principle. Instead of spending all our money on some fancy studio, we’re doing our own recordings now. As you can imagine this takes quite some time. That’s the reason we haven’t been playing many shows lately. There are a lot of things in the pipes right now, so don’t worry. Off course we’re always willing to play, so if you can hook us up please get in touch.

Expect more news about our new full length and newly confirmed shows soon. Summer is over, so it seems.
